pattern mixing & red coat

This is not a very interesting pattern mixing, as I'm wearing just black and white geometric patterns, which work together (almost) always. So it's a no-brain ensemble, a really easy outfit to pick and go. And this is what I worn on Saturday morning, to run errands and go for a walk, as usual!
Both jacket and dress came from ebay, second hand and flawless. I'm becoming a huge fan of internet purchases!
Linking to another fabulous Visible Monday!

- red coat, La Redoute (ten years ago?) / abrigo rojo, de hace unos diez años
- jacket and dress, ebay / chaqueta y vestido, ebay
- grey brogues, Hotter / zapatos grises
- bag, Misako (very old) / bolso, antigüito
- beret, a present / boina, un regalo

  3. A no-brain ensemble for you maybe, but not for other people, which is what makes you so stellar. Love the combos. Black and red are great together.

  7. "Not very interesting"
    What nonsense!!
This is a beautiful interpretation of the classic black, white and red.
Executed with more unexpected twists and turns than a plate of spaghetti!
    Bold and stunning.

  8. This may be a "no brainer" for you, but the majority of people out there would never think to mix the patterns, and create such a cool graphic outfit, from head to toe! I love the palette of red, black and white.

  11. 'Not interesting'? Pah! As soon as I saw the outfit I immediately thought of all those black and white paintings, the British artist Bridget Riley did! She's famous for being a leading exponent of Op Art - optical illusion art. Clearly this is your inspiration!!!
And then we have the beret, the brogues and pops of red - perfect!
